Ecenur Menki

Ecenur Menki is an architect based in San Francisco. Together with Daria Agapitova, they formed the Design+Peace Organization in 2020.

She studied architecture and political science at Syracuse University, and has a special interest in the field of architecture preservation.

Menki is in charge of leadership and policy, as well as planning, coordination and management of the events in collaboration with the Executive Team.

Her thesis was titled "Gobeklitepe and its Historical, Political, and Religious Connections."  As a result, she developed a keen interest in architectural preservation, archeology, and the politics of conflict zones around the globe, prompting her to recognise these issues and concentrate on humanitarian architecture. She is dedicated to raising awareness on global problems and providing fair opportunities for people who need architectural assistance.
